和郭雪芙的坎坷背景相比，小康之家的李毓芬幸福多了。她說：「我們蘆鄒（洲）…」不自覺流露的台腔和「大姊大」的口氣，經紀人因此幫她取了很厲害的外號「通化街瘋狗」、「雞姊」，說她平常很Man，有事幫忙出頭，出國工作也在機場幫忙扛行李。

她國中時跟全校最壞的「大哥」在一起，在福利社被男同學捏屁股，她嗆：「再捏我一次，我就跟我男朋友講。」對方繼續挑釁，果然有人出頭，那是她的初戀，「我們國小一年級就認識，國一才在一起，媽媽都知道。」後來她到台北念書才漸行漸遠。

國中時很叛逆，不甩晚上９點前要回家的門禁，被媽媽連打３個月，「打到她不想打我了。」都去哪玩？女神揹著偶像包袱說：「騎腳踏車，跟女生朋友去散步、看漫畫。」高中當模特兒，缺課太多操行不及格，暑修完才拿到畢業證書。

女明星，尤其是「女神」常故作氣質，她說：「沒有ㄍㄧㄥ，只是我比較慢熱，加上外型讓人覺得太冷；相處之後，就知道我一點都不冷。」
