可彎曲電視 有待市場檢驗

（中央社記者潘智義台北2014年2月3日電）專業顯示器市調機構DisplaySearch指出，因背光模組彎曲後不易再回復平面，目前用於曲面（Curved）電視的背光技術，不適用於可彎曲型液晶電視。

三星利用液晶顯示器（LCD）玻璃基板的彈性特質，製造可彎曲型液晶電視（Bendable LCD TV），但受限於背光模組無法反覆彎曲、再放平。因此，可彎曲型液晶電視的長期可靠性尚有待市場驗證。

曲面電視是直接以曲面呈現，但可彎曲電視卻是由平面調整為彎曲，還可再調回成平面電視，兩者需要不同的背光技術。

DisplaySearch 認為，可彎曲型液晶電視面臨的最大挑戰是背光系統的設計。目前的曲面液晶電視背光系統設計，是直接彎曲導光板（LGPs）、背光板底座達成。

不過，可彎曲液晶電視卻是用2套背光模組；因為雖可將平面的玻璃基板彎曲，但導光板卻無法同步彎曲，畢竟導光板通常由塑膠製成，底座通常由金屬製成，並不像玻璃基板一樣，可以很容易地反復彎曲又放平。

因此，可彎曲電視必須準備2套背光模組，當電視呈現平面狀態時，適用1套背光模組；當電視呈曲面時，又適用另1套背光模組。
