明星二壘手Robinson Cano即將捧著10年2.4億美元、史上第3大合約轉戰西雅圖水手，留人失利的紐約洋基總管Brian Cashman似乎很不是滋味。

「每個人都是可以被取代的，這就是團隊的概念。」Cashman接受《華爾街日報》訪問時說。

Cashman透露，他6日才和Cano的經紀人通過電話，「無疑地，有些人比其他人難取代，但事情發生就發生了，我們會持續招募其他好手，而且是竭盡所能。」他說。

雖然消息傳的滿城風雨，鋒頭上的水手倒是相當低調，今天就從球團辦公室傳出一封信件，公告如下：「此時此刻，我們還無法確認所有關於Robinson Cano的消息，當協議敲定，我們會宣布的。」

Cano上季繳出0.314打擊率、27發全壘打、107分打點，160場出賽近乎全勤。

2013年球季，全聯盟的二壘手當中，打擊率超過3成的只有3人、全壘打超過24支的只有1人、打點超過100分的只有2人。

以上3項數據中，全部都符合的只有1人，那個人叫做Robinson Cano。
