雲縣設豬廁所 推低碳零廢棄

養豬以往一向被視為高污染的耗能產業，大量的豬糞尿常破壞河川生態，但其實養豬也可以很環保。雲林縣推廣在豬舍設置「豬廁所」的清潔養豬，全縣一百多處養豬場，設置了六千多個豬廁所，逐步建構低碳、零廢棄、低耗水量的養豬產業。

　　雲林縣養豬頭數約有一百四十五萬頭，造成不少河川大排水質受到嚴重污染，以「大義崙大排」為例，以往河川污染指數RPI趨近10，達到嚴重汙染程度，而在設置豬廁所後，RPI指數已經改善到6以下的中度汙染，並持續下降中，成果資料將提供農委會與各縣市參考。

　　雲林縣環保局指出，設置有豬廁所的豬舍平均有效減少用水量、用電量、豬舍清洗工時一半以上，並可減少豬舍臭味濃度百分之七十到九十，增加豬隻育成率二成到三成，不但大大增加養豬農戶收入，周遭環境衛生也獲得改善。
