日職／林威助遭戰力外通告 結束阪神虎生涯

日刊體育報導，效力日職阪神虎隊的林威助，今天接獲球團的戰力外通告，將結束11年的虎軍生涯。34歲的林威助受到外野出賽空間影響，本季僅在一軍出賽1場，留下4個打數沒有安打的成績，在阪神以年輕化作為未來主要方針的情況下，林威助遭到釋出。

不過日刊體育表示，林威助會以留在日職尋求轉往其他球隊發展做為未來的優先考量，似乎暫不考慮回台，但以林威助的打擊實力加上不錯的知名度，若能返台加盟中職，勢必又會成為另一顆震撼彈。

打擊爆發力是林威助自赴日就讀柳川高校，乃至近畿大學以來的最大特點，也讓他在02年選秀會獲得阪神青睞，開啟職棒生涯。林威助在07年打出生涯高峰，單季出賽生涯最多的115場及轟出最多的15支全壘打，但此後因右肩、左膝等傷勢影響，表現漸走下坡，出賽空間遭到嚴重壓縮，僅能以代打上場為主，前兩季在一軍打擊率皆不到兩成。
