板橋榮家無女性床位　議員痛批性別歧視

【曾佳俊／新北報導】中央斥資7億元推動板橋榮民之家改建計畫，預計今年底完工、明年啟用，內部共有600床，除其中有50對榮民夫婦床位，其餘竟全是男性床位，一名寡獨無依的榮民阿嬤日前向市議員江永昌陳情，指板橋榮家無規劃女姓床位，嚴重性別歧視很不公平，最近得跑到桃園、新竹榮家才有床位，江永昌批評，雙北地區女榮民佔了全台3分之1，共有4千多人，退輔會花大錢改建卻如此草率，根本未用心照顧榮民。

行政院退輔會林姓承辦員表示，台北與板橋榮家因功能性考量，確實無規劃女性床位，目前於北中南東部等6所榮家及八德、楠梓等2所自費安養中心，均設有女性榮民床位，總計110床，不過僅住5至6成，使用率偏低，女性榮民如有需求，可洽各地榮民服務處或榮民之家協助辦理。
