國泰世華銀成為柬埔寨 SBC Bank唯一股東

【林巧雁／台北報導】為加速東南亞布局與提升競爭力，國泰金今天宣布，子公司國泰世華銀行將收購柬埔寨SBC Bank（Singapore Banking Corporation Limited）3成股權，投資金額約台幣3億4254萬元，將成為SBC Bank百分之百持股大股東。
 
國泰金去年已收購柬埔寨SBC Bank的7成股權，國泰金看好東南亞經濟成長，除柬埔寨之外，也有興趣拓展版圖至印尼與緬甸。SBC Bank成立於1993年，在柬埔寨有6個營業據點，經營企金與個金業務，大股東原為新加坡商人。
