大排變身櫻花步道 羅東新亮點

（中央社記者沈如峰宜蘭16日電）宜蘭羅東羅莊大排櫻花林蔭步道硬體工程日前開工，將鋪設約2公里長的人行及腳踏車道、40多盞景觀燈，預定明年元月完工。

羅東鎮公所今天說，羅莊社區於3年前，在當地大排兩旁分別種下墨染櫻與八重櫻，共有近千株。這些櫻花樹平時由社區內35名志工負責養護，每年逢春綻放花朵，讓大排從原本的排水溝，搖身變成櫻花大道。

鎮公所表示，在鎮內「地景生態環境改造工程」的持續推動下，羅莊大排櫻花林蔭步道硬體工程日前開工，將鋪設長2200公尺人行及腳踏車道，還將新增44盞景觀矮燈及40座石椅，預定明年元月中旬完工。未來，這條櫻花林蔭大道除串連羅東鎮光榮路與十六份圳的自行車道之外，也將是鎮內觀光的新亮點。1020916
