今年前8月 酒駕肇事死少89人

〔自由時報記者姚岳宏／台北報導〕警方針對酒後駕車強力執法，已見初步成效，警政署指出，今年1至8月，酒駕肇事死亡人數比起去年同期，減少89人，除將持續嚴正酒駕執法，也呼籲民眾共同維護交通安全。

警政署統計，今年1至8月，取締酒駕違規7萬8662件，移送法辦3萬6072件，酒駕肇事死亡人數165人，比起去年同期的254人，減少89人，酒駕死亡人數呈現下降趨勢。
