阿拉斯加火山爆發 灰雲沖天

（路透阿拉斯加州安克拉治30日電）科學家表示，1座阿拉斯加火山6月以來間歇噴出岩漿、小規模噴發火山灰和蒸氣，今天這座火山凶猛爆發，朝天空噴出超過48公里高的火山灰雲。

高達2507公尺的維尼亞蜜諾芙火山（VeniaminofVolcano）位於阿拉斯加半島、安克拉治（Anchorage）西南方約805公里處。阿拉斯加火山觀測所（AlaskaVolcano Observatory）警告，最近幾次噴發是今年夏天觀測到最強烈的火山活動，且可能增強。 觀測站的主責科學家鮑爾（John Power）說，火山爆發據信與阿拉斯加阿達克島（Adak）外海今天發生的規模7.0強震無關。阿達克島位於維尼亞蜜諾芙火山西南方近800英里處。 他說：「（火山和地震的）位於同一板塊，但火山爆發和地震沒有直接關係。」 維尼亞蜜諾芙火山噴發的火山灰已飄落到附近112人居住的漁村培利維爾（Perryville），火山觀測所預料火山灰還將飄落到其他社區。 新噴發的火山灰雲朝天空直衝1萬5000到2萬英尺，高度超過今夏先前噴發的灰雲，但美國聯邦航空總署（FAA）發言人肯尼澤（Allen Kenitzer）表示，空中交通沒有受到影響。中央社（翻譯）
