新聞解碼》李念祖：媒體應平衡報導，有保留的態度與說法

由世新大學新聞傳播學院、中廣公司與新聞評議委員會合作製播的「新聞解碼」，本周節目邀請到東吳大學李念祖教授，針對「媒體未審先判」，提出看法。

媒體報導受限於新聞時效性及熱度，因而會出現片段報導，或者無太大深度引導著讀者了解事實真相，往往會造成媒體人員未審先判或媒體影響辦案的行為。

李念祖教授提到：司法、媒體有發掘事實真相的重大使命，但在社會的制度上，司法是用比較嚴謹、公平、可靠的程序來發現真相，而媒體可能只是階段性的或是片面的真相。

那麼媒體對於片面報導應該怎麼拿捏方寸？李念祖教授表示：「報導的程序應該尊重司法做判斷的空間，過早下結論的話，會讓讀者得到一個不正確的印象，這將無助於發現真相。」

最後李念祖教授也建議：「媒體應該做平衡報導，要有保留的態度與說法。媒體也有所謂的調查報導，但調查報導是經過長時間的全面的判斷跟研究之後，掌握了很周延的證據，媒體才會下調查報導的文字。因此媒體如果可以在這方面多掌握的話，可以對社會的發現真相會更有幫助。」
