摘要：潭美颱風並沒有為雲林帶來重大災情，但卻發生一起不幸的意外，有三個小朋友，利用22號下午風雨暫歇，跑到住家旁的工地玩耍，其中兩名即將升上小四的一男一女孩童，卻不幸跌落一旁的水坑，警消獲報趕抵現場，將兩名小朋友給打撈起來，經過急救後，男童家屬在晚間放棄急救，而另一名女童仍與死神搏鬥當中。
