【鮮明／台中報導】台中市第四分局黎明派出所警員魏士峰、陳炯憲日前巡邏經過公益路、永春東七路口，發現一名林姓婦人（六十一歲）騎機車搖晃不穩，為擔心她發生意外趕緊攔下，並問林婦機車性能是否有問題。

　林婦當場神情恍惚、語焉不詳，警方隨即查出車主是王姓女子並連絡上她，得知該車是王女借給林婦代步及林婦住處，陪林婦返家後，從其女兒口中得知，林婦有重度憂鬱症，女兒剛從台北接到台中就近照顧，當天因工作忙碌疏於注意致林婦獨自外出，幸好警方及時發現護送回家，未發生意外。
