體育署叮嚀 注意戲水安全

〔自由時報記者趙新天／台北報導〕中、小學暑假即將進入尾聲，教育部體育署昨天再次提醒，民眾在開學之前仍須注意戲水安全，尤其是在無人管理之開放水域。

體育署學校組長吳永祿昨天表示，中、小學暑假已近尾聲，最後這1週學生經常為了把握放假最後時光，相約出遊戲水，警覺心降低，尤其在無人管理的溪、河、海邊開放水域，更容易發生意外。

他呼籲，這段時間家長一定要留意學生的行蹤，如果要出外戲水，務必選擇有救生員且安全合格的水域。潭美颱風剛過，海邊風浪變化仍大，如掛起紅色旗幟表示風浪過大，千萬不要下水。
