民進黨今（9）日通過「2014對中政策檢討紀要」，黨主席蘇貞昌表示，從來沒有說過要跟大陸有任何溝通，也沒有要派誰去跟大陸溝通，沒有這種事。

民進黨今天下午舉行中國事務委員會第五次會議，會中將原本要通過的「對中政策總結報告」，修正為「2014對中政策檢討紀要」。

針對有媒體報導，在此同時，民進黨也將派人向美國和大陸方面進行溝通，說明民進黨的立場態度及政策主張，銜命前往美、中兩國的人士，分別是民進黨政策會執行長吳釗燮及台大國發所教授陳明通。

蘇貞昌會後舉行記者會，回答媒體詢問時表示，從沒有說要跟大陸有任何溝通，也沒有要派誰去跟大陸溝通，並沒有這種事；但他相信大陸對今天中國事務委員會的共識，每個字都很關心。

至於對美溝通的部分，蘇貞昌說，吳釗燮是民進黨的駐美代表，今天通過的共識各方都非常關切，吳釗燮也會把今天會議通過的內容傳遞給美方，讓美國第一時間了解民進黨今天的共識。

吳釗燮受訪時表示，與美國溝通是他的職責所在，不與美國溝通才是失職。他預計12日出發訪美，14日將在美國發表演說，會把會議結論與美方溝通。
