美媒幫大忙 照片尋回失蹤男

（中央社華盛頓5日綜合外電報導）與父母同住美國紐約州北部城鎮的20歲男子席蒙斯元旦當天失蹤，錢包、手機都沒帶在身上，外頭天寒地凍，家裡人急著尋找他的下落，最後是幸運透過記者拍攝的照片尋回。

美聯社報導，席蒙斯（Nicholas Simmons）失蹤4天後，美聯社女攝影記者馬丁（Jacquelyn Martin）拍攝到席蒙斯人在距離美國國會山莊數個街區外，倚靠著蒸汽口取暖的照片。

警方及親友表示，席蒙斯的父母今天早上輾轉看到「今日美國報」（USA Today）登出馬丁拍攝的新聞照片，發現照片上的人就是兒子。

馬丁昨天拍下這張照片。離家數天的席蒙斯沒有刮鬍子，淪落成「犀利哥」，坐臥在聯邦貿易委員會（Federal Trade Commission）外的蒸氣口旁。他穿著滑雪外套，戴著連帽衣的兜帽，下身蓋著厚厚的毛毯。

馬丁在這個街友天冷聚集的地區拍下席蒙斯，她先是向聚集在蒸氣口附近的人介紹自己，之後開始拍照，身裹毛毯的席蒙斯特別受到她注意。

警方透過照片線索在今天下午找到席蒙斯，並把他送到醫院，家人晚間趕到醫院和兒子團圓。不清楚席蒙斯為何會失蹤流浪到華府。（譯者：中央社林亭儀）1030106
