　　油價預測最準確的人士說，全世界半數石油的基準─布倫特原油價格，明年將連續第二年下跌，因為石油生產增加，而且中東和北非石油供應受到的威脅緩解。

　　根據訪查7位分析師的預測中值，2014年的平均油價將從今年的每桶108.70美元下滑到105美元。這些分析師在去年12月的訪查中，對今年的油價水準預測最準確。布倫特原油2012年均價111.68美元。

　　全球的石油供應量增加，因為美國大量開採蘊藏於頁岩層的原油，促使美國國內的石油產量達到四分之一世紀以來高點，也減少對於以布倫特原油定價原油的需求。

　　這些預測人士說，明年伊朗、伊拉克和利比亞也將增產原油。雖然布倫特原油價格連續第二年年線下跌，為1998年以來首次連續下跌，但油價仍然較過去10年平均價格高約39%。

　　多倫多道明銀行(Toronto-Dominion Bank)駐卡加立大宗商品高級策略師波克霍特(David Bouckhout)說：「我們預期會生產過剩。」波克霍特也是預測油價最準確的分析師之一。

　　他說，北美「石油供應量的成長仍然強勁，也足夠應付預期的需求增加。2014年供應面的最大隱憂是伊朗，但伊拉克是另外一個必然希望見到產量增加的石油生產國」。
