南極發現 100 年前的負片並成功修復

Bcad76b8288c57869286f7420b4600c3 我們正位於在數位和負片時代的交接處，正當不少人在討論底片還是數位照片能存放比較久的時候，出現了一個案例也許能參考一下。紐西蘭的 Antarctic Heritage Trust 探險人員在南極發現了一盒負片，而且它有了一百年的歷史。

負片至少能放一百年

這盒負片是在 Ernest Shackleton 爵士的一個補給小屋發現的，估計是他們在 1914 - 1917 年於南極探險的時候所留下的。負片其實並不是保存的非常好，但經過修復之後，照片大部分的畫面都還可以辨識，人像的畫面也非常清楚。雖然這算神奇的個案，不過看起來負片可以存放的時間要比一般人想的還要久。但在數位照片的個案上，過去也是有相機泡在水裡三年還能讀取出照片的記憶卡，不知道 100 年後如果有人撿到今年的記憶卡，是否也能把照片讀取出來呢？
