南極洲受困俄研究船即將獲救

美聯社報導，自耶誕節前夕就被困在南極洲冰雪中的俄國研究船「紹卡斯基號」27日已接近獲救，因為中國大陸破冰船「雪龍號」已逐漸靠近。

紹卡斯基號是赴南極洲研究探險，24日碰到暴風雪，強風推動船隻周圍的冰海，把船整個封凍起來，無法移動。那艘船並無沉沒的危險，只是無法移動，且船上有充裕的補給品，可供74名科學家、遊客及船員食用。

澳洲當局在25日接獲紹卡斯基號的求救訊號，派了3艘破冰船去協助。截至27日下午為止，大陸「雪龍號」已進入紹卡斯基周圍冰海的邊緣，兩船相距約20公里。但雪龍號仍面臨通過那片冰海的艱難任務。雪龍號希望能在27日晚間抵達紹卡斯基號，但天氣變化及浮冰的厚度可能使救援工作拖到28日。
