【呂健豪／新北報導】近來氣溫驟降，對血管疾病患者及老人健康形成莫大威脅。根據統計，一般人在心臟停止後只有5分鐘的急救黃金時期，否則會造成腦部損傷，因此CPR及AED電擊器成為搶救生命的重要法寶。

為此中央極力在各地推行設置AED，新店分局響應該項政策，由國際扶輪社贊助，在深坑分駐所設置1台AED電擊器，並請專業護理師教導警員實施CPR與操作AED，希望能在急救時刻發揮最大效用。
