劉家昌、甄珍傳婚變，親友27日爆料劉嗜賭成性的狀況，說他在美國拉斯維加斯賭不夠，還遠赴東南亞、澳門下注，他賭運常不好，積欠高額賭債，甄珍也常接到賭場的電話向她討債。親友說：「他賭金押１萬美元（約30萬台幣）不夠看，還曾押５萬美元（約150萬台幣），結果１分鐘內，錢就飛了。」

親友感慨說，很多人告誡劉家昌要戒賭，但他屢勸不聽，沒錢才想到甄珍，親友嘆：「他喜歡押大押小，卻沒想到賭博一翻兩瞪眼，錢回不來了。」據悉，甄珍位於賭城的家離賭場半小時車程，他特別愛住在那，就算甄珍把鑰匙藏友人家，他仍能想辦法進門。

羅霈穎27日上中天《新聞娛樂通》，說曾在拉斯維加斯與劉家昌巧遇，兩人一起賭百家樂，她已輸了５萬多美金，劉輸得更多，仍想翻盤，直到甄珍到場關心，才把劉家昌叫了回去，羅說：「賭場都知道劉是大咖，且從不欠債。」她的說法，跟親友稱劉家昌欠債有所出入。
