推動黑莓公司下市的Fairfax金融公司掌門人沃薩（Prem Watsa）投資眼光獨到，數度讓外界視為冷門的併購目標在他掌舵下起死回生，為他贏得「加拿大的巴菲特」美名。

沃薩與巴菲特有諸多共通點，皆為白手起家，視保險為核心事業，拜班‧葛拉漢為師，兒子都以「班」命名（巴菲特兒子是中間名）。

沃薩每年致函股東公開信也以第一人稱侃侃而談，宣揚主管的行誼與放眼遠處的價值觀。

63歲的沃薩在印度出生，幼時父母雙亡，長大後擔任化學工程師，後來到加拿大唸商學院。他1985年買下一家經營困難的卡車保險業者，成功轉虧為盈，並更名為「Fairfax」，意為「公平且友善的併購」（fair and friendly acquisitions），並靠Fairfax持續收購其他有困難的產險與災害保險業者。
