伍茲戰績輝煌 角逐最佳球員獎

（路透紐約23日電）美國高球名將老虎伍茲（ Tiger Woods）今天獲提名，角逐美國職業高爾夫協會（PGA）年度最佳球員獎，他今年戰績輝煌，除了贏得多項冠軍，而且名列獎金排行榜首位。

伍茲今年贏得五項巡迴賽冠軍，包括選手錦標賽（Players Championship）和世界高球錦標賽（World Golf Championship）的兩項賽事。他在聯邦快遞盃（FedExCup）也贏得總成績亞軍，僅次於總冠軍史騰森（Henrik Stenson）。伍茲全年獲得850萬美元獎金，名列獎金排行榜第一名，因而獲得阿諾帕瑪獎（Arnold Palmer Award）。與伍茲同獲提名的另外四人是澳洲的史考特（Adam Scott）、瑞典的史騰森（Henrik Stenson）和美國米克森（Phil Mickelson）與庫查（Matt Kuchar）。得獎人將在27日揭曉。中央社（翻譯）
