肯亞購物中心遇襲 39死150傷

（中央社奈洛比21日綜合外電報導）肯亞總統甘耶達（Uhuru Kenyatta）向全國發表電視演說表示，今天發生的首都奈洛比購物中心遇襲案，造成39人喪生和150人受傷。

甘耶達表示，肯亞「以往曾克服恐怖分子攻擊，我們將會再度擊敗他們」，並告訴全國人民，他本人「也在西門（Westgate）購物中心遇襲事件中痛失親人」。

他說：「我們的安全部隊正著手殲滅攻擊者，以及掌控購物中心。」

與蓋達組織（Al Qaeda）掛鉤的索馬利亞激進團體青年黨（Shebab）表示，它的戰士發動這起攻擊。

甘耶達指出：「他們意圖在我國引發恐懼和沮喪，但我們不會被嚇唬到。」他並誓言追捕涉案者。1020922
