德國同意簽署G20對敘利亞聲明

德國政府7日表示，將會簽署G-20呼籲國際對敘利亞採取強烈反應措施的聲明；並表示德國之所以比其他歐洲大國晚一天表態，是為了先確定歐盟內部的團結。外界批評德國遲不表態，是因為德國選舉在即，總理梅克爾怕因此而影響選情。梅克爾解釋說，德國延後簽字是要先在歐盟內部建立一致的立場。德國外長魏斯特威勒表示，「我們一向認為德國也應支持歐盟內的一些小國，它們沒有機會出席G20會議。當我們看到歐盟的睿智立場後，總理和我也決定要支持G20的聲明。」
