台南孔廟榕樹倒 半年內第三起

台南孔廟內再傳老榕樹倒，一棵年約80歲的老榕樹因染上「褐根病」被市府列管，不敵連日大雨沖刷倒下，幸好沒有壓倒古蹟，這是台南孔廟近半年內第三起老樹死亡或樹倒意外。

據了解，這棵榕樹染上嚴重的褐根病，今年年初快速退化，終於不敵病魔摧殘，在颱風豪雨沖刷下結束生命，幸好老樹倒下時被一旁的樹頂住，沒有壓垮古蹟。

根據護樹人士晁瑞光表示，事實上孔廟內還有多棵老樹也有隱憂，位於「義路」附近有一棵有傾鈄之虞，收費亭旁也有一棵疑似染病，需要格外注意。

此外，在台南公園內也有多棵「羊蹄角」病死或瀕死，或是樹根未移除乾淨，晁瑞光提醒市府儘早處理，以免擴大病源。
