會動的雕塑 席時斌展作品

台灣藝術家席時斌去年到舊金山遇到老藝術家伯尼魯貝爾拿了張圖給他，說圖畫的東西會像動物一樣四腳走路，伯尼魯貝爾做幾次都失敗；席返台後完成，原來這圖是俄羅斯數學家切比雪夫發明的四足機器。

席時斌昨天起在新思惟人文空間展示「會動的雕塑」，一共有6件作品，除了「動動獸」之外，還有用不鏽鋼、有機玻璃、大理石、黃銅等複合媒材組合的「大雄鹿」及「路易─小鹿」，展到9月29日。

席時斌說，19世紀數學家切比雪夫，因有天生殘疾，經由精密的數學換算，繪製了「會動的四足機器」。

他還在現場示範四足機器走動的模樣，讓在場民眾大開眼界。作品曾在台北當代藝術館、高雄市立美術館、北京今日美術館、上海美術館、韓國Haslla Art World展出。
