南華大學引進慢活文化 打造全國首座慢城

凸顯特色發展觀光，嘉義縣大林鎮與南華大學合作，引進義大利「慢食、慢遊、慢活」文化，將著手打造全國首座兼具健康飲食與旅遊的慢城。

南華大學旅遊系陳貞吟主任表示，國內連續爆發食品安全問題，讓人們開始在乎食物的真實面貌，也讓大家瞭解到「吃當地、選當季」的重要性。因此，有越來越多消費者進行「產地旅遊」，顯示國人開始逐漸重視「食育」。而慢食提倡的就是回到餐桌享受食物、保護推廣地方菜餚、發展地方觀光旅遊。

　　南華大學今年暑假期間，有多位老師前往在義大利慢食領域享負盛名的美食科學大學、IFSE義大利廚藝學校觀摩，並拜訪慢食國際協會(International Slow Food Association)，學習「產地結合旅遊」模式。回國後，經與嘉義縣大林鎮洽談，雙方決定攜手合作，形塑大林鎮成為台灣第一座慢城，藉由生技系與大林農民共同生產無毒農產品、促成農夫市集；打造慢遊生態環境和行銷推廣，為臺灣引進多元健康的飲食文化。
