傳美不排除以「柯索伏」模式攻擊敘利亞

紐約時報報導說，美國官員正在考慮，是否要循一九九九年的「柯索伏戰爭」模式，在未經聯合國的授權下，逕行攻擊敘利亞。

「柯索伏戰爭」是在一九九八年到一九九九年期間發生的，當時的「米洛塞維奇」政權，被指對柯索伏平民採取暴行。不過，由於俄羅斯支持米洛塞維奇，因此如果要透過聯合國安理會授權攻打，幾乎是不可能的，而在一九九九年三月，北約突然對南斯拉夫聯邦軍隊，發起一系列空襲，攻擊持續七十八天。

一名匿名的美國高級官員透露，目前說美國要對敘利亞採取任何行動，為時尚早；不過，「柯索伏戰爭」當然可以被認為是參考點之一。
