敘用化武是否跨紅線 白宮避談

（法新社華盛頓21日電） 敘利亞疑似使用恐怖的化學武器攻擊後，美國今天拒絕在此問題上設下新的「紅線」，重啟美國不願介入敘國內戰的爭論。

反叛軍聲稱敘國總統巴夏爾•阿塞德（Basharal-Assad）部隊在大馬士革附近使用化武攻擊，屠殺1300人，美國高階官員如今陷入是否介入敘國內戰的泥淖。

歐巴馬曾信誓旦旦表示，若敘國政府使用化武，等同跨越「紅線」，將面臨嚴重後果，而今年稍早已經有人批評歐巴馬未說到做到；現在又傳出敘國安全部隊使用化武，歐巴馬政府下一步動作成為國際焦點。

美國國務院發言人莎琪（Jen Psaki）說：「我不討論紅線，不是要說明或是要辯論紅線問題...也沒有要設新的紅線。」

白宮同時也拒絕言明，如果阿塞德部隊證實是化武攻擊的背後主使，將面臨何種反制。這場攻擊的罹難者顯然都是窒息而死。

白宮發言人厄尼思特（Josh Earnest）反將焦點放在聯合國赴敘利亞的化武調查小組，表示小組應該得以檢視化武攻擊是否屬實。（譯者：中央社陳怡君）
