颱風天上山燒炭　警馳援救回一命

【黃子騰／新北報導】1名住在桃園的簡姓男子，昨天中午趁著潭美颱風來襲風雨交加之際，開車到新北市八里區山上偏僻的產業道路，在車上燒炭自殺。1名上山工作的農民發現有人在車旁燒炭盆，疑似要自殺，趕緊下山到八里龍源派出所報案。
 
警員鄭凱憶、洪明章獲報，立即開車前往救援，因事發地點處位於石壁腳產業道路尾端，2名警員憑著白煙方向，終於找到準備燒炭自殺的簡姓男子。簡男獲救後情緒激動，不願說明輕生原因。警方開導苦勸許久，簡男才打消自殺念頭，親友接獲通知趕抵，對警方的救命之恩頻頻致謝。
