中華代表隊昨在南京亞洲青年運動會游泳項目傳回捷報，蔡秉融在男子蛙式100公尺以1分03秒09險勝韓國選手，獲得中華隊在游泳競賽的首面金牌，也是代表團第4面金牌。目前累積4金7銀10銅，在獎牌榜排第4。

賽前即預估有奪金實力的蔡秉融，對決韓國的金在泳，前50公尺處於落後，不過後勁十足，最後逆轉成功。

蔡秉融賽後表示，教練早有告知，前段比賽一定會落後，「只是要沉住氣，我算是後勁好一點，後段比賽一定會追回來。」蔡秉融游出個人最佳成績，「這成績沒有意外，我真的很想贏。」

就讀台中東山高中將升高二的蔡秉融，期許自己的終極目標是亞、奧運。今天他還將參加蛙式200公尺決賽，也有再得牌機會。
