【時報-台北電】昨一夜豪雨，造成南投縣新中橫、中潭、埔霧及台16線等省道多處土石崩落，由於雨勢持續，新中橫、台16線持續封閉。公路總局工務段指出，中潭公路43K土石泥流掩蓋路面，只能單線通行；埔霧公路68K處土石崩坍中斷，但有替代道路；另外，信義鄉台16線22K落石阻斷道路，新中橫88~89K路段零星落石；由於雨量達警戒值，台16線30至31K、新中橫105至145K路段持續封閉。
