去年8月蘇拉颱風肆虐，對秀林鄉造成重大損害，這次鄉公所嚴加戒備，前天起陸續撤離潛勢溪流區的居民，包括和平村的和中、和仁部落及富世村5鄰、崇德村3鄰及4鄰、秀林村13鄰、景美村14鄰、佳民村3鄰及4鄰、銅門村7鄰、水源村11鄰。

「雨一陣一陣，幸好風不大」，文蘭村民表示，前天中午看到銅門村7鄰的人撤到銅門村舊活動中心，有股風雨欲來的感覺，但他住的文蘭村，潛勢溪流區都沒有住人，因此「安啦」。

秀林鄉公所人員昨天恢復上班，得知全鄉都沒有災情，心情都很好。
